📸 Oops, Forgot Zoom In!

On Sunday June 07, 20026 the clue was supposed to be Ho Fung Chinese Restaurant, my husband's favourite Chinese food restaurant. 😄

My husband took the photo as I was driving out of the Wendy's drive-thru. Unfortunately, I forgot to ask him to zoom in on Ho Fung’s. Plus, when John Mark built the graphic, I forgot to ask him to zoom in too.

In other words, I had two chances to fix this and missed both of them. 😂

The result? Our detectives identified Wendy's Drive-Thru, Ho Fung Chinese Restaurant, Mediterranean Donair, Annie's Dairy Bar, the KFC drive-thru, and just about every landmark visible from the driveway.

Some of the comments were priceless:

💬 "Wendy's Drive thru on the left and Mediterranean Donair on the right. Ho Fung Chinese straight ahead. That's 3 correct answers." – Julie Christie

💬 "There's always a genius with high beams in the opposite side on the KFC parking lot." – Mike Tibit

💬 "Wendy's…. I was part of the crew that opened that location." – Sherril Tabin Caouette

💬 "Wendy's drive through on the left, Donair place on the right, across at the blue awning is Annie's, yellow awning is Ho Fung Chinese, and the teeny tiny bit of red you can see, across and to the right is KFC."

The funny part is that the photo wasn't taken at any of those businesses. It was taken from the little hidden driveway coming out of the Wendy's drive-thru.

After reading the comments, we've decided that all answers will be accepted for this one. 🏆

If this week's clue taught us anything, it's that the detectives of New Westminster don't miss much. What was meant to be a photo of one business turned into a full street investigation.

The knowledge, attention to detail, and community spirit on display in the comments were amazing to see.
