When Aly Kanji talks about why InsureLine supports the Royal City Rotary Pot of Gold Golf Tournament and Online Auction, he doesn't start by talking about insurance. He talks about a person. That person was Monica Woldring.

A longtime member of the Rotary Club of New Westminster, Monica introduced InsureLine to Rotary and encouraged the company to become involved in supporting local community initiatives."

She was just this unbelievable personality," Aly recalled. "She was such a big part of InsureLine and the growth of our business."

After Monica passed away in 2025, the company made a promise." One of the things we committed to was continuing that legacy because it was so important to her."

Today, InsureLine continues to support the Pot of Gold Golf Tournament in her honour, helping Rotary raise funds for youth and community programs throughout New Westminster.

Founded in Port Coquitlam in 2015, InsureLine has grown into a successful Canadian company with offices stretching from British Columbia to Ontario. Rather than seeing independent insurance brokerages disappear through industry consolidation, Aly wanted to create a different path.

"We're opening doors," he explained.

InsureLine helps existing independent brokerages remain competitive while also giving experienced insurance brokers the opportunity to become business owners—something Aly says has become extremely difficult in today's marketplace."Without us providing this platform, many of our franchisees probably would not be business owners today."That commitment to helping people build businesses mirrors the company's belief in supporting strong local communities.

Every InsureLine office is independently owned and operated by someone who lives and works in the community they serve."Our franchisees support local hockey teams, local ball teams and community events," Aly said. "People go the extra mile to support businesses that support their communities."

Although InsureLine provides home, auto, business and travel insurance, Aly believes the company's real purpose goes beyond policies."Our people are helping protect the biggest assets people have in their lives," he said. "Making sure families and business owners have the right protection if something goes wrong is incredibly important."
