Now Queensborough might not always be the first place people think of for food and drink, but it’s quietly building a reputation for neighbourhood spots where the food is honest, the staff warm, and the vibe very local. In this episode, I’m going to walk you through some hidden gems in Queensborough — places where we locals go, where you’ll find great flavour without the fuss.

Let’s start with Nando’s Queensborough. If you’re in the mood for something spicy, grilled, and full of personality, this spot hits the mark. Their flame‑grilled PERi‑PERi chicken is marinated for 24 hours, and you can get it in many heat levels. It’s casual, colourful, and perfect for takeout or a relaxed dinner with friends.
