On December 6, the iconic sounds of ABBA mix with festive cheer as ABRA Cadabra brings An ABBA Christmas to the Massey Theatre for one sparkling, joy-filled night.

This all-ages holiday spectacular blends everything you love about ABBA — the harmonies, the costumes, the dance-your-heart-out energy — with classic seasonal favourites that will have the whole crowd singing along. Expect a full live band, powerhouse vocals, dazzling new outfits, dancers, and immersive multimedia that transforms the stage into a holiday wonderland.

Come dressed in your holiday glam, gather your friends and family, and get ready for a night of nostalgia, sparkle, and pure celebration.

Hailing from Vancouver, ABRA Cadabra has spent over two decades touring internationally, performing everywhere from Universal Studios to the Esplanade Theatre in Singapore — and now they’re bringing the magic home to New Westminster.

Get ready to bundle up, grab your camera, and step into the sparkle of the season! The New Westminster Photography Club is hosting its New West Xmas Lights – Photo Walk on December 6, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most festive community nights of the month.

This cheerful evening stroll starts at Tipperary Park, where photographers of all levels will gather before wandering into the beautifully decorated Queen’s Park neighbourhood. With twinkling displays around every corner and December’s theme of bokeh, the walk is a perfect chance to play with glowing lights, dreamy blur effects, and creative winter-night photography.

Participants will receive a suggested route with both walkable highlights and a few optional drive-to stops for extra-bright holiday magic. And to keep everyone inspired, the club is adding a playful twist—a surprise one-shot challenge announced on the night!

Whether you’re bringing a DSLR, a phone camera, or just a love for cozy winter evenings, this outing is all about creativity, connection, and soaking in New Westminster’s seasonal charm together. Don’t forget your tripod, your warm layers, and your sense of curiosity—the city will be lit up and waiting.
