Get ready for a day of connection, fun, and community spirit! On Sunday, September 21, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., join Autism Family Friends (AFF) at 610 6th Street, New Westminster, for their very first annual fundraiser. 🌟

AFF is a grassroots, parent-led non-profit that supports families raising autistic and neurodivergent children. This event is all about celebrating community, raising funds to expand programs, and spreading awareness about autism and neurodiversity in Metro Vancouver.

• Inclusive family activities for all ages

• Silent auction and raffle prizes 🏆

• Vendor booths featuring local therapy & support services

• Free refreshments 🍎

New Westminster families, it’s time to celebrate a season of reading, learning, and fun! 📚✨ On Sunday, September 14, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., head to the Anvil Centre for the Summer Reading Club Wrap-Up Party—a free community event hosted by your library.

🎶 Family Dance Party: DJ Rock ‘N’ Beau will be spinning upbeat tunes to get the whole family moving.
🎨 Creative Fun: Kids can enjoy face painting and glitter tattoos with Michelle’s Cheeky Face Painting, plus a craft table, colouring station, and photo booth to capture the memories.
📖 Free Book Giveaway: Thanks to Literacy New West, every child can take home a book and keep the joy of reading alive all year long.
💫 Sensory-Friendly Space: Designed with comfort in mind, so everyone can join the celebration.
