Opening night is finally here, and the energy is building across New Westminster as the Salmonbellies return to the floor tonight.

The Bellies kick off the new season at 7:30 p.m. on May 21 against the Burnaby Lakers, bringing fast paced action, hard hits, and hometown excitement back to Queen’s Park Arena.

From the roar of the crowd to the intensity on the floor, opening night is one of the biggest nights in New West sports — and fans are ready.

Whether you are a lifelong Bellies supporter or catching your first game, tonight is all about community pride, arena energy, and rallying behind one of Canada’s most legendary lacrosse teams.

The jerseys are ready. The sticks are set. The season begins tonight.

Relive the Eagles’ biggest hits live on stage

Classic rock fans in New Westminster are in for a nostalgic night as Take It To The Limit – The Ultimate Eagles Tribute returns to Massey Theatre on May 24.

The touring tribute show brings the legendary music of the Eagles back to the stage with live performances of iconic hits including Hotel California, Take It Easy, Life in the Fast Lane, and more.

Known for recreating the sound and energy of an authentic Eagles concert, the production features a full band of seasoned musicians and vocalists who have earned rave reviews from audiences across North America.

The concert takes place Sunday, May 24 at 7:30 p.m. at Massey Theatre in New Westminster. Organizers say tickets are selling quickly as fans look forward to an evening packed with timeless classics and singalong favourites.

For longtime Eagles fans and classic rock lovers alike, it promises to be a night filled with familiar songs, big harmonies, and plenty of nostalgia.
