Join the Holy Eucharist Ukrainian Catholic Cathedral for a radiant evening of faith, unity, and celebration at the Bishop’s Gala Dinner on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 4:00 PM (PST).

This special gathering marks the second anniversary of Bishop Michael Kwiatkowski’s Enthronement and his birthday — a joyful celebration of God’s transforming grace. Guests will experience sacred art, inspiring testimonies, and uplifting performances by talented young Ukrainian musicians, including pianist Lev Panchenko, saxophonist Liubomyr Prysyazhnyi, and panpipe artist Yasa Bobanova.

At the heart of the evening is the live sacred art performance “The Wheat of Resurrection” by artist Serhii Kolodka, symbolizing how faith and hope grow together in Christ.

Proceeds from this charitable gala will support Camp St. Volodymyr 2026, helping Ukrainian children and youth in Canada grow in faith, friendship, and heritage.

Heads up, New West! As part of the Massey Theatre Renovation Project, crews will be doing underground work from November 7 to 10, 2025, which will require a full closure of the roadway between Massey Theatre and Moody Park Arena.

🚶‍♀️ Pedestrian walkways will stay open, so you can still walk between the two facilities.
🚗 Vehicle access will be available via 10th Avenue, with parking located behind both Massey Theatre and Moody Park Arena. Please plan ahead and allow a bit of extra time — it’s expected to be busy! Carpooling is a great option if you can swing it.

A noise exemption has been granted to help speed up the work and reduce the overall construction timeline.

Thank you for your patience as improvements continue at one of our city’s most beloved arts and recreation hubs.
