Cassady Law LLP
For many businesses, success is measured by growth. At Cassady Law, it also seems to be measured by connection.
For more than a century, the firm has remained part of the fabric of New Westminster, BC, serving businesses, and individuals facing difficult legal challenges. That long history has helped shape a simple but steady philosophy: legal work is about people first.
Managing Partner Dale Framingham sees the firm as part of a wider community network. In a city where people often rely on local support, he believes businesses have a role to play beyond their office walls. That mindset has helped keep Cassady Law deeply involved in New Westminster for many years.
Deep Roots in the Community
Community involvement is not treated like an extra task. It is part of how the firm operates.
Over the years, Cassady Law has supported organizations and events that help strengthen New Westminster. That includes involvement with the Royal City Rotary Club, the New West Chamber of Commerce, and local causes that fill important gaps for people who need support. Again this year Cassady Law is supporting the Rotary Pot Of Gold Golf Tournament.
Framingham spoke with pride about grassroots organizations that grow from local effort. He has seen how volunteer-driven groups can become lasting support systems for residents facing hardship.
That local spirit stands out to him. In New Westminster, he sees people stepping in where help is needed most. Whether supporting charitable groups, preparing community hampers, or helping organizations that serve vulnerable residents, the firm has stayed connected to that mission.
For Cassady Law, being present in the community is not just about sponsorship. It is about relationships.
Legal Services With a Human Approach
Law can feel intimidating. Many people delay reaching out because they believe their issue is too small or not serious enough. Cassady Law works to change that.
Framingham believes many legal concerns still matter, even when they seem minor in the broader business world. Government paperwork, disputes, complicated applications, or situations that simply feel overwhelming can still affect someoneโs life in a major way.
That is why the firm focuses on accessibility and responsiveness.
Clients can connect in the way that feels most comfortable to them. Some call. Some email. Some reach out through the website. What matters most is making sure people are heard and directed to the right help.
The firm also understands that not every person who walks through the door needs only legal advice. Sometimes they need guidance, support, or direction toward other services. That people-first mindset appears to shape much of how the firm serves clients.
A Career Built on Connection
Framingham describes himself as a people person. That shows in both his work and community life.
Outside of law, he has stayed involved through coaching youth sports, supporting local organizations, enjoying live music, and staying active in New Westminster. Those experiences seem to have reinforced something central to his leadership style: connection matters.
He finds the most rewarding part of legal work in helping people move forward through difficult situations. Even when outcomes are not perfect, helping someone find solutions and continue with life can still feel meaningful.
That practical, human view has helped shape the culture at Cassady Law.
Here for New Westminster
From community care to practical legal support, Cassady Law continues to serve New Westminster with a people-first mindset built on trust, connection, and long-standing local relationships.
For residents, families, and businesses facing legal questions, the message remains simple: they are here to help.

Ready to make a difference while having a little fun? Clean Up New West returns on June 13, inviting residents to roll up their sleeves and help keep New Westminster beautiful.
Hosted by Westminster House Society, the annual community event celebrates 43 years of recovery programs by giving back to the city that has supported them along the way. Participants can join a friendly litter clean-up competition while enjoying a morning filled with community spirit, live music, prizes, and plenty of family-friendly fun.
The day kicks off at 9 a.m. with registration and cleanup activities. Collected litter can be weighed starting at 10:30 a.m., followed by a free lunch from a food truck beginning at 11 a.m. The celebration continues with prize announcements at noon and the always-entertaining pie-eating contest at 12:15 p.m.
Best of all, participation is completely free. Whether you're cleaning up with friends, family, coworkers, or neighbours, it's a great opportunity to give back, meet new people, and show some love for the community.
Big transportation improvements are on the way for New Westminster. The City has secured more than $4 million in funding from TransLink to support a series of projects designed to make it easier and safer for people to walk, roll, cycle, and connect with transit throughout the community.
The funding will support the 4th Street Active Transportation Network Plan ($651,075), the 1st Street Active Transportation Network Plan ($1 million), the 3rd Avenue Active Transportation Network Plan ($1 million), the 5th Avenue Active Transportation Network Plan ($1.247 million), and new sidewalk improvements along 8th Avenue between 8th Street and 10th Street ($127,000).
City officials say the projects will help strengthen transportation connections, improve accessibility, and support safer travel options for residents of all ages and abilities.
The investment is part of TransLinkโs broader regional funding program, which is providing nearly $174 million for transportation infrastructure projects across Metro Vancouver this year.
For New Westminster, the funding represents a significant step toward building a more connected, accessible, and sustainable transportation network for the future.
