🎶 Community Invited to Sing and Celebrate at “Gather Your Courage” Event

Music lovers are invited to lift their spirits at the upcoming “Gather Your Courage” Community Choir UnConcert, featuring an inspiring performance by the Love ’n Harmony Community Choir on Wednesday, December 17 at 7 p.m. The event will take place at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, located at 1010 5th Avenue.

Known for their uplifting repertoire, the choir will share a mix of positive-energy songs, including works by artists such as Buffalo Springfield, Joe Charron, The Courage Collective, Karine Polwart, and others. While the performance isn’t a holiday concert, the feel-good set list promises to bring warmth and optimism to audiences during a busy season. Attendees can also look forward to a bit of group singing, adding a welcoming, participatory element to the evening.

Admission is by donation (suggested $10–$20), with all proceeds supporting community programs at St. Barnabas. Doors open at 6:40 p.m., with singing beginning at 7 p.m.

The UnConcert offers a chance to come together, share music, and enjoy an uplifting night of harmony and community.

💃 The Dimes Bring Festive Fun Back to Bernie Legge Theatre

Holiday cheer is heading back to Queen’s Park as The Dimes return to the Bernie Legge Theatre for a series of festive performances this December. Families and music lovers can enjoy four shows between December 19, 20, and 21, including two evening performances and two matinees filled with classic Christmas songs and joyful sing-along moments.

This seasonal event is known for its lively atmosphere and family-friendly spirit, and this year includes a special ticket rate for children aged 13 and under, making it an affordable holiday outing for all ages.

Presented by Vagabond Players, the show promises an uplifting blend of nostalgia, harmonies, and holiday magic inside one of New Westminster’s most charming theatre spaces. More details and ticket information are available at vagabondplayers.ca.
