Visitors can browse a variety of handcrafted items created by Century House craft groups and local makers, while also picking up freshly baked goodies and one-of-a-kind treasures. Whether you're shopping for a special gift or simply treating yourself, the event offers plenty of opportunities to discover local talent and creativity.

Adding to the fun, attendees can also enter for door prizes and enjoy a few surprise activities throughout the day.

The free community event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Century House, making it a perfect stop for anyone looking to shop local and connect with fellow community members.

💃🎶Latin Dance Fest Brings Music, Movement & Community to Uptown Plaza

Get ready to move, groove, and celebrate! The Hyack Festival Association is bringing the energy of Latin music and dance to Uptown New Westminster with the return of Latin Dance Fest on Saturday, June 27.

Taking over Uptown Plaza from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., this free community event will feature live rhythms, dance lessons, and an open dance floor where everyone is welcome to join in—whether you're a seasoned dancer or stepping onto the dance floor for the very first time.

The festival promises an afternoon filled with music, culture, and community spirit as residents and visitors come together to enjoy the vibrant sounds and styles of Latin dance. It's a chance to learn new moves, meet new people, and experience one of Uptown's most lively summer events.

Presented by the Hyack Festival Association in partnership with the Uptown Business Association, New West en Español, and the City of New Westminster, the event is expected to bring plenty of colour, excitement, and festive energy to the heart of Uptown.
