🍽️ Dine and Donate: Community Dinner to Support Fraserside Services

Residents of New Westminster are invited to come together for a special evening of food, connection, and community support at the Dine and Donate Local: A Community Dinner for a Cause event, happening Wednesday, August 6th. Hosted in the cozy back room of Craft Cafe, this event offers a relaxed atmosphere where guests can enjoy a buffet dinner along with cocktails and mocktails.

This gathering isn’t just about a great night out—it’s about making a difference. All proceeds from the evening will be donated to Fraserside Community Services Society, a local multi-service organization that has been supporting individuals and families in need since 1972. The society offers programs for those seeking housing and employment, and individuals living with developmental disabilities, mental health or substance use challenges, or low income.

Fraserside is based in New Westminster and serves six communities across the region. The organization plays a vital role in creating opportunities for people to achieve greater well-being and inclusion in their communities.

Tickets for the event are $75 and include dinner and one beverage. Attendees can expect a warm, welcoming atmosphere and the chance to connect with neighbors while supporting an essential cause that directly impacts the local area.

Looking for a perfect way to spend a sunny Saturday? 🌳 Grab your picnic blanket and gather the crew — the PIPSC CP Subgroup is throwing a fun-filled community picnic at Hume Park in New Westminster on Saturday, July 19 starting at 2:00 PM!

🍉 What to Expect:

• FREE food and refreshing non-alcoholic drinks!

• A splash-tastic kids’ water park 💦

• Outdoor swimming pool 🏊

• An off-leash dog park for your furry friends 🐕

• Plenty of green space to lounge, play, and connect

Bring your beach chairs, umbrellas, and that sunny summer attitude — all ages are welcome, and there's something for everyone! Whether you're chasing the kids through the splash zone or chilling in the shade with friends, this event is designed to help you unwind and enjoy the season.

To secure your spot, register by July 12 with a $5 refundable deposit per person. (Deposit will be returned at the event.)
