New Westminster Animal Services would like to thank residents for their patience while dog licence renewal notices are sent out. Due to unforeseen staffing challenges, mailouts are running behind schedule this year—but renewal notices should be arriving soon.

The good news? You don’t have to wait to renew. Dog licences can be renewed online at any time using your Account Number and Access Code.

If you don’t have that information handy, help is just an email away. Simply contact [email protected] with your name and address, and the Animal Services team will provide what you need.

Keeping your dog licence up to date helps support local animal services and ensures pets in our community stay safe and cared for.

Looking for a sweet way to celebrate Valentine’s Day and support local? Dan’s Legacy is teaming up with Dan’s Diner and Hye Floral Studio for a heartfelt Valentine’s Day raffle right here in New Westminster.

One lucky winner will enjoy a prepared dinner and dessert for two from Dan’s Diner—designed for easy reheating and featuring options like braised beef, coq au vin, or a vegan dish—paired with a beautiful flower arrangement from Hye Floral Studio. The prize package is valued at approximately $100.
