Douglas College is inviting employers to connect with students and graduates at its 2026 Career Fair on March 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the New Westminster campus.

Organized by the College’s Business Development Department and Career Centre, the in-person event offers organizations an opportunity to promote job openings, strengthen brand awareness, and recruit talent for spring and summer hiring needs.

The five-hour career fair will bring together motivated students and recent graduates eager to explore employment opportunities and begin building their professional careers. Employers will have the chance to engage directly with potential candidates, expand their teams, and showcase their organizations.

The event will take place at Douglas College, 700 Royal Avenue. Set-up is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., with the fair running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Registration is now open. Participation fees start at $210. Organizers note that the event is non-refundable.

Soccer Spirit Shines

Get ready for a night of celebration, connection, and club pride as the New Westminster Soccer Club hosts its 2026 Annual Awards Banquet on Saturday, March 7.

Taking place at Roma Hall in Queensborough, this high-spirited evening brings players, families, coaches, and supporters together to celebrate the season’s achievements and the incredible community behind NWSC. Doors open at 5 p.m., with dinner served at 6 p.m.

Expect an upbeat atmosphere filled with recognition, laughter, and team spirit as the club honours players and volunteers who made the season unforgettable.

Tickets are just $25 for adults, and children attend free — making it the perfect family night out. Tickets are available now through PowerUp.
