Fraser Health is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from artists across British Columbia to create artwork for the redeveloped Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster.

Selected pieces will help shape the hospital’s interior environment, offering patients, visitors, and staff a sense of healing, comfort, and connection to nature. Artists are encouraged to draw inspiration from the natural beauty of the Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley.

🖌️ Submission Details:

  • Open to all BC artists (preference given to those with regional ties)

  • Artwork can include painting, drawing, or photography

  • Submit 4–5 available works with details (medium, dimensions, suggested price)

  • Include contact info and portfolio link (if available)

This free, family-friendly Eco-Fest & Weed Pull is all about rolling up your sleeves, having fun, and giving back to one of our city’s most cherished green spaces.

🌱 Event Highlights:

  • Invasive Weed Pull & Prizes (starts at 10:00 am)

  • Nature Activities for all ages (from 10:30 am)

  • Eco-Art, Games & Nature Walks

  • Community celebration of 8 years of volunteer action

Whether you’re digging in the dirt, creating eco-inspired art, or enjoying a walk under the trees, you’ll be part of a vibrant day that honors both the environment and the people who protect it.
