🌳 Fall Tree Sale Returns October 9 🌳

The City of New Westminster’s bi-annual Tree Sale is back on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 10 a.m.—offering residents the chance to bring more greenery to their yards at a reduced cost.

Each household can purchase up to two trees through this popular program, designed to make it easier and more affordable to plant at home. By participating, residents help the city work toward its goal of achieving 27% canopy cover, creating a cooler, greener, and more sustainable community for future generations.

🍂 Key Details:

  • 🌱 A maximum of two trees per residence

  • 💻 Online sale only

  • Starts at 10 a.m. on October 9

  • 🏡 First-come, first-served — quantities are limited

  • 🔑 Residents should confirm or create their account before the sale begins

Don’t miss your chance to be part of this eco-friendly initiative.

Today, Tuesday, September 30, 2025, New Westminster observes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. This day honours Survivors of residential schools, remembers the children who never returned home, and recognizes the ongoing impacts on Indigenous communities.
