The Heart Behind the Homes
For Tracey Davies, real estate isnโt just a career โ itโs part of her family story. A licensed Realtorยฎ with Oakwyn Realty Northwest, Tracey has been helping people buy and sell homes since 2004. Before joining Oakwyn, she spent over 20 years with Park Georgia Realty, a name long familiar in New Westminster.
When that brokerage closed after decades in business, Tracey made a seamless transition, ensuring her clients knew she was still right where sheโs always been โ working hard, connecting people, and helping families move forward. โI just want people to know Iโm still here,โ she says with a smile.
Traceyโs roots in New Westminster run deep. Sheโs lived in Glenbrooke North for more than 40 years. She and her husband even lived across the street from each other as kids, in The Heights on Surrey Street โ a true New West love story.
A Family Legacy in Real Estate
Real estate is practically in Traceyโs DNA. Her parents were Realtorsยฎ before her, and she grew up overhearing their calls with clients at the family dinner table. โI used to listen to my dad reassuring someone on the phone,โ she recalls. โAt the time I didnโt realize one day that would be me doing the same thing.โ
After years working with the City of New Westminster and the school board, Tracey decided to follow in her parentsโ footsteps. The flexibility, personal connections, and sense of purpose drew her in. Two decades later, her business remains built on the same foundation she learned from her family โ honesty, reliability, and care.
Hands-On Service, Start to Finish
Tracey runs her business as a sole proprietor, giving her clients one-on-one attention from listing to sale. She prides herself on being available and approachable โ the kind of Realtorยฎ who personally answers calls, helps with staging, and keeps every client informed.
โWhen I am hired for the job, I take my responsibility very seriously and ensure my clients are satisfied.โ she says.
From advising on home preparation to connecting clients with trusted painters, handy men, plumbers, or cleaners, Tracey makes the process as smooth as possible. She offers practical staging advice โ often with a light touch and a knack for knowing what looks best on camera. โLess is more,โ she laughs. โI always say, make it look like youโre having company for dinner.โ
A Local Expert with Deep Roots
As a lifelong resident, Tracey knows every corner of New Westminster โ from Glenbrooke North to the West End and Queensborough. That local knowledge gives her clients confidence. She understands the rhythms of each neighbourhood and the real values behind the listings.
More than that, she loves sharing what makes her hometown special. When buyers new to the area visit her listings, Tracey finds joy in showing them why she loves it here โ from local schools to parks and hidden gems. โIโm not overselling it,โ she says. โItโs just genuine pride in my community.โ
Her strong network โ built over generations โ also gives her a unique edge. She often works with families who knew her parents or whose children grew up with her own. That kind of connection canโt be faked; itโs what makes Traceyโs approach so trusted and personal.
A Philosophy of Care and Integrity
Traceyโs success comes from her simple, heartfelt approach: do what you say, and always be honest. She believes in setting boundaries, being transparent, and keeping promises. โWe teach people how to treat us,โ she says, quoting one of her favourite sayings.
Her clients appreciate that balance of warmth and professionalism. Whether itโs guiding a first-time buyer or supporting a family through a sale, she brings calm, care, and clear communication to every step.
For Tracey, the best part of the job isnโt the commission โ itโs the trust. โItโs such a compliment when someone chooses me to represent them,โ she says. โIt means a lot.โ
Reliable Service You Can Count On
Tracey still stands by the motto she started with: Reliable service you can count on when buying or selling your home. Itโs not just a slogan โ itโs how she lives and works every day.

She encourages anyone curious about working with her to check out her client testimonials online. โIโm not one to brag,โ she says. โBut my clients have shared their experiences, and that means the world to me.โ
From heartfelt service to dependable results, Tracey Davies continues to bring warmth, integrity, and hometown pride to every real estate journey in New Westminster.

A routine fare check by D Squad Community Safety Officers at New Westminster SkyTrain Station quickly escalated into a significant arrest earlier this week. Officers approached a man who was unable to provide proof of fare. When asked to confirm his identity, he repeatedly refused, prompting officers to investigate further.
Through additional checks, officers determined that the individual was wanted on three outstanding warrants from other jurisdictions. Once in custody, a search revealed several dangerous and prohibited items, including a dagger, bear spray, and suspected illegal drugs, all of which were seized as evidence.
The incident underscores the important role Community Safety Officers play in ensuring the safety of both transit riders and staff. Fare checks, while routine, often uncover more serious public safety concerns, and officers are trained to respond quickly when situations unexpectedly escalate.
Transit Police continue to remind the public that fare inspections are not only about fare compliance but also contribute to broader community safety efforts across the transit system.
The New Westminster Police Department is investigating a string of overnight vandalism incidents in the West End after 14 vehicles and at least one business were found with smashed windows. The first report came in around 11:45 p.m. on the 1500 block of Dublin Street, where a car alarm led the owner to discover the damage. Witnesses soon reported a man riding a bicycle through the neighbourhood targeting parked vehicles.
Officers canvassed the area but were unable to find the suspect at the time. Roughly two hours later, police were called to a business on 12th Street where the owner witnessed a man on a bicycle kick out the front window. Officers soon located and arrested a suspect near Edinburgh Street and Henley Street.
Police believe at least 14 vehicles and two businesses were damaged. Anyone in the West End who discovered property damage on the night of November 11 is asked to contact the NWPD so investigators can fully document the extent of the vandalism.
