Get ready for a night filled with nostalgia, energy, and unforgettable music as NAG BABALIK OPM 3 takes over Redbar in New Westminster on Sunday, April 5 from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m.

Presented by Dreamsound Production and brought to life by Coco Project, this high-energy event celebrates the best of Original Pilipino Music (OPM) — from timeless classics to modern fan favourites.

More than just a concert, OPM 3 is a community celebration, where guests can sing along, dance, and relive the songs that have defined generations. Expect powerful live performances, a lively crowd, and an atmosphere full of Pinoy pride and good vibes.

Whether you're coming with friends, family, or that special someone, the night promises a shared experience rooted in music, culture, and connection.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m. This is a 19+ event, and tickets are limited.

Poetry takes centre stage in New Westminster this April with a special National Poetry Month celebration at the New Westminster Public Library.

Taking place on Saturday, April 11 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., this event brings together local voices for an afternoon of creativity and storytelling. Featured poets include Marlo Browne, Barbara Kmiec, and New Westminster Poet Laureate Janet Kvammen, each sharing their work and unique perspectives.

The event also includes an open mic session, giving attendees the chance to step up and share their own poetry in a welcoming, supportive setting.

Presented in partnership with the Royal City Literary Arts Society, this gathering is a great opportunity to connect with the local literary community and celebrate the power of words
