🏀 Free Basketball Tournament with Pizza, Prizes, and Fun for Ages 11–18

Youth ages 11–18 are invited to hit the court for an afternoon of basketball, prizes, and fun at Westminster Pier Park on Saturday, October 4, from 1:00–3:00 pm.

Gather your teammates and join this free 3v3 Basketball Tournament, designed to bring young players together for friendly competition in the heart of the community.

Here’s what to expect:

🍕 Complimentary pizza and drinks for all players
Free entry — no cost to participate

Registration is encouraged (to make sure there’s plenty of pizza for everyone!) but not required.

Halloween lovers, mark your calendars! The 4th Annual All Hallows’ Eve Craft Market is back at Sapperton Hall, 318 Keary Street, New Westminster, on Saturday, October 4 (11 a.m.–5 p.m.) and Sunday, October 5 (11 a.m.–4 p.m.).

Spread across two levels of the hall, this family-friendly event will feature more than 60 vendors offering all things spooky, witchy, gothic, geeky, and wonderfully unusual. Expect to find everything from handmade crafts, costumes, bath bombs, toys, and plush pumpkins to wands, masks, stickers, comics, and even mermaid and elf-inspired treasures.

👻 Event Highlights:

  • 🎟 Admission just $4 (kids 12 & under free)

  • 🛍 60 unique, Halloween-loving vendors

  • 🚆 Easy access via Sapperton SkyTrain (parking is limited—take transit!)
