Mark your calendars—Saturday, October 18 is all about wellness, connection, and community at St. Peter’s Parish. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the parish will host a Health Fair designed to bring people together to explore ways of caring for the whole self—body, mind, and spirit.
The event will feature local health professionals, wellness resources, and faith-based support, all in one welcoming space. Visitors can take part in screenings, activities, and workshops designed for all ages, making it a day of learning, inspiration, and connection.
Whether you’re curious about new wellness practices, looking for trusted health guidance, or simply wanting to spend a meaningful day with the community, this event is open to everyone.

New Westminster is inviting residents to take part in a powerful day of learning, storytelling, and connection on Thursday, October 16, at 502 Columbia Street. This flagship event for Homelessness Action Week (October 11–18, 2025) brings the community together to explore meaningful solutions and work toward making the city a welcoming place for everyone.
The day will include inspiring stories from people with lived experience, interactive workshops and panels, and opportunities to connect with local non-profits and government partners. Visitors can also enjoy Indigenous drumming, local entertainment, and engaging activities with prize giveaways. Light refreshments and a bag lunch prepared by Dan’s Legacy will be provided.
This event is free and open to all community members. It is presented by the New Westminster Homelessness Coalition Society in partnership with the City of New Westminster and SPARC BC.
