Get ready for a joyful celebration of culture, creativity, and community at the New West Craft Indigenous Market and Fashion Show, happening Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. along the scenic Westminster Quay Boardwalk and inside River Market in New Westminster.
Now in its fourth incredible year, this free, family-friendly event brings together the best of Indigenous art, food, fashion, and storytelling — all in one vibrant and welcoming space. Presented by Arts New West, Shop First Nations, and Native Art Renaissance, the market is a showcase of Indigenous talent, entrepreneurship, and cultural pride.

Wander through more than 70 Indigenous vendors offering everything from handcrafted jewelry and artwork to one-of-a-kind gifts and traditional crafts. It’s the perfect place to shop local, support Indigenous makers, and discover something truly special.
🎶 Live entertainment will keep the energy high throughout the day, with DJ sets, traditional drumming, dancing, and captivating storytelling sessions inside the Spirit of the Children Society Teepee — a magical space for all ages.

You won’t want to miss the delicious dishes served up by Tradish’s The Ancestor Café and Westcoast Bannock. These beloved food vendors are known for their authentic Indigenous cuisine made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. New this year: a stunning Indigenous Fashion Show at 1:00 PM, featuring the work of over 30 Indigenous designers and artisans. Watch the runway come alive with bold designs that blend traditional influences with contemporary flair — a powerful expression of identity and creativity.
All of this unfolds along the beautiful Fraser River, making it a perfect day out for families, friends, and anyone looking to celebrate Indigenous culture in an inspiring and inclusive setting.
