Rock fans, this one’s for you. Begbie’s Tavern is gearing up for a night of guaranteed fun as local rock hero Mike Van Eyes takes the stage alongside his powerhouse troupe of rockers. Tickets are available now at the bar, and if past shows are any indication, they won’t last long.

Known for his raw energy and unmistakable sound, Mike Van Eyes has been turning heads far beyond New Westminster. His latest single, Yield Not To Temptation, recently earned praise from the Argentinian press, calling it “raw, joyful, and impossible to sit still to — a shot of vintage rock ’n’ roll adrenaline in a modern landscape.”

Rewind the Clock. Ring in 2026.

The Sapperton District Taphouse is set to turn back the clock this New Year’s Eve with a high-energy throwback celebration designed to carry partygoers straight into 2026.

Running from 9 p.m. on December 31 through 2 a.m. on January 1, the Midnight Rewind NYE Throwback DJ Party will transform the popular New Westminster venue into a retro dance floor. Guests can expect nonstop hits from the 1980s, 1990s, and early 2000s, delivered by a live DJ spinning crowd-favorite classics all night long.

Attendees are encouraged to lean into the theme with nostalgic outfits inspired by past decades, adding to the throwback atmosphere. As midnight approaches, the celebration will peak with a complimentary champagne toast to welcome the New Year, along with giveaways and lively party vibes throughout the evening.

Tickets for the event are priced at $15 plus tax. The taphouse is located at 421 East Columbia Street in New Westminster, making it a convenient destination for locals looking to celebrate close to home.

With retro fashion, classic music, and a festive countdown, the event promises a spirited and stylish way to rewind the clock before stepping into the year ahead.
