The Westside Swing Band is back in New Westminster, bringing fresh tunes and timeless favourites to the dance floor. Whether you’re a seasoned dancer or just looking for a fun night out, this event is sure to get your feet moving.

Kick off the evening with a free dance lesson, then show off your moves as the band fills the hall with the lively sounds of swing, jazz, and blues.

🎶 Live Performances will light up the stage, from dazzling traditional dancers in embroidered costumes to modern Ukrainian musicians turning up the energy.
🍴 Food lovers, rejoice! Indulge in perogies, pampushky, borscht, and more — all the classics that will have you coming back for seconds.
📚 Cultural Exhibit: Take a walk through history with an interactive display showcasing five waves of Ukrainian immigration to Canada, spanning more than 130 years of resilience, hope, and community pride.

This family-friendly celebration promises something for everyone — great music, delicious food, fascinating history, and plenty of fun. Whether you’re Ukrainian by heritage or just Ukrainian at heart for the day, this is one festival you won’t want to miss.
