Get ready for a night of laughter, honesty, and heart with Worst Christmas Ever, coming to Centennial Lodge in Queen’s Park on Wednesday, November 19 at 7:30 PM.

Hosted by author and editor JJ Lee in collaboration with Arts New West, this live storytelling event brings the popular Better Next Year anthology series to life. Featuring contributors from the newest collection, Better This Year, the evening explores those messy, meaningful, and downright funny holiday moments when things don’t go quite as planned.

Through tales of heartbreak, hijinks, and holiday havoc, audiences are invited to find comfort in imperfection and rediscover the warmth and humor that make this season truly human.

Mark your calendars, New West art lovers — Arts New West is hosting its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Sunday, November 23 at Centennial Lodge in Queen’s Park, and you’re invited to join the celebration.

The AGM is a chance to reconnect with New Westminster’s vibrant arts community, celebrate an inspiring 2025 filled with creativity and collaboration, and look ahead to an exciting 2026 of new projects and partnerships. Whether you’re a long-time member, local artist, or community supporter, it’s the perfect opportunity to catch up on all things Arts New West and see what’s next for the city’s creative scene.
