If you’ve ever dreamed of working with a realtor who treats you like family, look no further than Iolanda Esposito. A proud former Queensborough resident who called the neighbourhood home from 2004 until recently, Iolanda brings more than just real estate expertise—she brings heart, dedication, and a genuine passion for helping people find their perfect home.
Working under the RE/MAX Select Realty umbrella, Iolanda is the face behind the Iolanda Esposito Personal Real Estate Corporation. Since becoming a realtor in 2007, she has specialized in Queensborough and Port Royal, areas she knows inside and out. “Living there for so many years shaped my business because it was personal,” Iolanda shares. “When I walked the neighbourhood or chatted with residents, it was like being part of one big family.”

Having grown up working in her family’s business from a young age, and later running her own businesses for 16 years before entering real estate and moving cities, Iolanda brings a depth of experience and care. She has also owned real estate since the age of 25, giving her insight into what’s at stake when you’re making big property decisions. She uses that background to help guide you through one of the biggest financial decisions of your life—your real estate journey.
What makes Iolanda’s approach unique is her deep connection with the community she still proudly represents. Whether she’s advising on a sale, scouting the perfect next home, or simply sharing local knowledge, she does it with the warmth and care of a true neighbour. She knows the builders, the developments, and the small details that matter—because she lived it all right alongside the people she serves.
For Iolanda, real estate isn’t just a job—it’s a way to help. “I love helping people,” she says. “Sometimes I even talk people out of selling if it doesn’t make sense for them financially. It’s not about the sale—it’s about what’s best for them.” Her clients often find themselves gaining not just a realtor but a trusted friend who looks out for their best interests, whether that means guiding them through staging their home or helping them envision new possibilities.
Buying or selling with Iolanda is a personal journey. She takes the time to get to know you—your needs, your lifestyle, and what makes a home feel right. “Selling is intimate. You’re inviting me into your space, and that helps me understand what you need when it’s time to buy,” she explains. Her background in hairstyling has given her an artist’s eye and a people-first approach that shines through in her work today.
Iolanda is also deeply committed to networking—not just with clients, but with other agents. Whether it’s through realtor tours, exclusive listings, or simply spreading the word about a hidden gem, she believes in teamwork to bring buyers and sellers together. And when it comes to showcasing your home, she’s embracing modern tools like video tours while keeping her signature personal touch.
When asked what sets her apart, Iolanda’s answer is simple: authenticity. “What you see is what you get. I’m the same person whether you meet me today or tomorrow,” she says with a smile. “It’s about connection. If we click, that’s wonderful. If not, that’s okay too. I want you to feel comfortable.”
If you’re curious about working with Iolanda or just want to learn more, she’s happy to connect—whether it’s over coffee at a local café or through her website at iolanda.ca. You can also find her on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. No commitment, just a friendly chat to see how she might help you with your next move.
Even though she has recently moved, Iolanda’s heart—and her dedication—remain firmly rooted in Queensborough.

A proposed redesign of London Street in New Westminster is drawing criticism from residents who say the changes would negatively impact accessibility and quality of life in the city’s west end.
The city has introduced two options as part of its 2022 Active Transportation Network Plan: one would eliminate parking on alternating sides of London Street, while the other would convert the street into a series of one-way blocks. Opponents argue both proposals will create unnecessary complications for locals, particularly affecting seniors and working-class residents who rely on convenient street parking and vehicle access.
Critics say there was no community consultation despite earlier commitments to conduct a resident parking survey. Many believe these changes could lead to greater traffic congestion, longer travel times, and increased pressure on adjacent streets. The redesign could also force more drivers to seek out parking on neighboring roads, escalating safety concerns due to higher traffic speeds and volumes.
Residents are urging the city to reconsider and preserve the current layout of London Street, which they see as essential to maintaining the area's livability and transportation accessibility. A petition opposing the changes is gaining traction, with dozens of signatures added in recent days as momentum builds against the proposed overhaul.
