🎅 Santa Visits New Westminster at Hyack’s Holiday Meet & Greet 🦌 

The holiday spirit is about to light up New Westminster as the Hyack Festival Association hosts a joy-filled Santa Claus Meet & Greet on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. Families, neighbours, and festive friends are invited to gather at 204 6th Street from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. for an evening designed to spark smiles and spread seasonal cheer.

Guests will be welcomed into a cozy, festive atmosphere complete with holiday music, sweet treats, and plenty of warm laughter. At the centre of it all, Santa himself will be on hand to greet visitors of every age—making it the perfect opportunity to capture a magical moment and create new holiday memories.

With admission by donation, the event offers an accessible and heartfelt way for the community to come together, celebrate the season, and support the Hyack Festival Association’s ongoing community programming.

Brimming with joy, music, and holiday magic, this special gathering promises to be a perfect December highlight for all who attend.

🧥 Ugly Sweater Night Promises Fun, Snacks, and Holiday Cheer ☃️ 

Craft Café is turning up the festive fun this season with an Ugly Sweater Party that fully embraces questionable fashion choices and over-the-top holiday cheer. Set at 115–960 Quayside Drive in New Westminster, the event invites the public to dig out their loudest, most wonderfully tacky sweaters for a night dedicated to celebrating all things clashing, sparkly, and delightfully chaotic.

Guests can enjoy tasty bar snacks with every ticket—fuel for both laughter and bold wardrobe decisions—as well as the chance to win gift cards for the evening’s most spectacularly ugly knitwear. Festive drink specials will help keep the holiday spirit high and might even make those questionable sweater patterns feel intentional.

Open to anyone 19+, the party promises a playful, spirited evening filled with humour, community energy, and the kind of holiday joy that only an aggressively decorated sweater can inspire.
