Have you ever wandered through the New West Farmers Market and thought, this place has a vibe? The colours, the food, the people, the energy — now imagine turning that feeling into something you can wear.
The New West Farmers Market is inviting artists, designers, doodlers, and creative minds of all kinds to take part in a Merch Design Contest, and your artwork could become the next piece of official market merch.
Inspired by market mornings, local food, and community connection, participants are encouraged to submit original designs using the market’s brand colours. One standout creation will be transformed into real, wearable merch — and the winning artist will also take home $50 in Market Money to spend at the market.
Whether you’re a seasoned designer or someone who just loves to create, this is a chance to leave your mark on a space that brings the community together week after week.

This Spring Break, The Cove Indoor Play teams up with Vini Vici Learning to offer an engaging Learn & Play Day Camp designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and connection. Perfect for families looking for a full-day program that balances fun with meaningful learning, these camps invite children to explore, move, and grow in a supportive indoor environment.
Camps run 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM during Week 1 (March 16–20) and Week 2 (March 23–27), welcoming children ages 5 to 10. Through play-based activities inspired by Vini Vici Learning’s values, campers will explore themes of culture, diversity, gratitude, and adventure, while building friendships and confidence along the way.
Leadership opportunities are also built in. Junior Leaders (ages 11–13) may join at no cost, gaining valuable experience while supporting younger campers. High school students (ages 13–17) can apply as volunteers to earn hours and develop leadership skills.
Spots are limited, and early registration is encouraged. Adventure truly awaits this Spring Break — at The Cove.
