Good news for history lovers in the Royal City! The New Westminster Museum has officially reopened following the completion of restoration work, welcoming visitors back to explore the city’s rich history and heritage.

The museum confirmed that restoration work is complete and regular operating hours are now in effect. The reopening comes after a period of closure, during which visitors had to wait for the museum to welcome the public back.

Located at Anvil Centre in downtown New Westminster, the museum offers residents and visitors an opportunity to connect with the stories, people and events that have helped shape the community.

The museum also thanked the public for their patience during the restoration period and shared its excitement about welcoming visitors again.

Whether you're a longtime resident interested in local history or someone looking to discover more about New Westminster, the reopening is a welcome opportunity to plan a visit and reconnect with the city's heritage.

With regular hours resumed, history enthusiasts can once again add the New Westminster Museum to their local outings.
