Get ready for a night of creativity, laughter, and a splash of color at the Sunflower Moo Highland Cow Paint Party happening Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Howe Sound Taphouse & Kitchen.
This two-hour sip-and-paint experience is designed for fun, not perfection—no experience required! Guests will be guided step-by-step in painting a cheerful Highland cow crowned with bright sunflowers, a masterpiece you’ll be proud to take home.
Everything you need is included: canvas, paints, brushes, and plenty of encouragement along the way. Purchase your ticket by September 20 and enjoy a complimentary drink while you create. To top it off, there will be door prizes to keep the night full of surprises.
Whether you’re gathering with friends, planning a unique date night, or simply looking to unwind, this event promises a blend of art, social vibes, and playful energy.
Step into an evening where poetry meets comedy at Famous Last Words, a one-of-a-kind spoken word showdown coming to Centennial Lodge in Queen’s Park on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
This lively event takes the form of a faux competition where poets face off through six unpredictable rounds of wordplay. Each challenge brings a twist—think haikus on silly themes, love poems written on the spot, or verses delivered through puppets. With 25 possible games in the mix, no two shows are ever alike.
The fun doesn’t stop with the poetry. Expect recurring characters like Uni the Unicorn, playful audience participation, and a generous sprinkle of free chocolate, stickers, and even bubble guns. Described as “a kids’ show for adults,” the night balances wit, storytelling, and sheer absurdity in equal measure.
The lineup features a dynamic roster of poets and performers, from seasoned writers to fresh voices, all ready to bring humor, creativity, and heart to the stage. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., the show begins at 7 p.m., and while admission is free, donations are welcome to keep the magic going.
