This interruption is necessary to carry out vital maintenance work on the electrical system. A number of residential and commercial addresses will be affected during this period, including properties along the following streets:

408 to 436 Blair Avenue
407 to 450 Buchanan Avenue
315 to 336 Knox Avenue
306 to 338 Ward Street

The City of New Westminster’s Electrical Utility team will be conducting the maintenance and aims to restore power as quickly as possible. Residents are encouraged to take necessary precautions, such as charging devices in advance and preparing for the temporary loss of power.

This isn't just another meeting — it’s a midday celebration of community, creativity, and collaboration among tourism colleagues, set in one of BC’s most fascinating heritage venues: the former British Columbia Penitentiary gatehouse, now home to the ultra-cool Notorious Grey Fox Taps & Patio.

🎶 Karaoke fun to let loose and laugh with your industry peers
🍹 One of the best patios in the city, perfect for a sunny afternoon
🗣️ A casual space for DMO teams, Executive Directors, and Visitor Centre reps to connect

This is more than just a social — it's a chance to celebrate everything we love about our work and the places we represent. Come swap ideas, sing your heart out, and soak up the energy of one of the most vibrant destinations in Metro Vancouver.
