Spots are limited, and these races tend to fill fast—so if you’re even a little curious, now’s the time to take a closer look.

This spring, the Fraser River Discovery Centre invites curious kids ages 6 to 11 to dive into adventure with two immersive, week-long Spring Break Camps inspired by the living, working Fraser River.

From hands-on science to creative play, campers will explore the river’s past, present, and future through games, experiments, and discovery-based activities—perfect for young explorers who love to learn by doing.

Rooted in the River (March 16–20)
Campers investigate how people and nature shape the Fraser River, exploring topics like pollution, climate change, and river science while uncovering how the river continues to evolve.

River Explorers (March 23–27)
Travel from Mt. Robson to the Salish Sea as campers discover the plants, animals, and communities that depend on the river, all through playful learning and interactive activities.

Camps run 9:00 am–4:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with small group sizes and safety measures in place.
