New Westminster residents looking to welcome the New Year in style are invited to the 2026 New Year’s Eve Celebration at RedBar on Wednesday, December 31. The lively evening promises a full night of entertainment, featuring live music by The Coco Project and late-night beats from DJ Kola to keep the dance floor moving.
Guests can choose a Dinner and Dance experience for $110 per person, which includes a three-course dinner, party favours, dancing, and a midnight toast to ring in 2026. For those who want to skip straight to the celebration, Dance-Only / General Admission tickets are available for $25, with entry after 10 p.m.
The event is 19+, with an 18% gratuity and applicable taxes applied. Reservations are recommended, and guests can book by calling 604-777-3510 or emailing [email protected].
With great music, great food, and a festive atmosphere, RedBar is set to deliver a memorable New Year’s Eve celebration in the heart of New West.
The holidays may be winding down, but the spirit of giving is still going strong in New Westminster! Residents are invited to bring their natural Christmas trees to the Tree Chip Event 2026, happening Saturday and Sunday, January 3 and 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at New Westminster City Hall.
This beloved post-holiday tradition makes it easy to recycle your tree responsibly while giving back to the community. The event is by donation, with all proceeds supporting the New Westminster Fire Fighters, who continue to make a difference through local programs and community support.
Located at 511 Royal Avenue (access off 4th Street and Royal Avenue), the Tree Chip Event is a simple, feel-good way to wrap up the season. Bring your tree, make a donation, and know you’re helping both the environment and the people who serve our city every day.
Recycle your tree, support a great cause, and keep the holiday cheer alive—New West style! 🌟🚒
