🌺 New Westminster Gathers to Honour Veterans on Remembrance Day

Join the City of New Westminster on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, to honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served our country. The Remembrance Day Ceremony begins at 10:25 a.m. at the City Hall Cenotaph (511 Royal Avenue).

The event will feature a parade, outdoor service, and a moment of reflection for fallen heroes. Attendees can also watch a livestream of the ceremony on YouTube, where sign language interpretation will be available.

🕰 Event Schedule:

• 9:00 a.m. – Wreath pick-up (City Hall front lawn)

• 10:15 a.m. – Parade assembly (Queen’s Ave & Sixth St)

• 10:25 a.m. – Outdoor service at the Cenotaph

🚗 Road closures will be in effect from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Royal Avenue, Sixth Street, and Queens Avenue. Accessible parking and drop-off will be available on Seventh Street.

This ceremony is held in partnership with the Royal Canadian Legion, New Westminster Branch No. 2, and the Royal Westminster Regiment, with support from local organizations and volunteers.
