Looking for a fun and easy way to get moving this spring? Tuesday Night Rides are back — and they are perfect for beginner and casual cyclists.
Starting May 5, riders will set out from Century House for a relaxed 9.5 km group ride through some of New Westminster’s most scenic spots, including Douglas College, River Market, and Grimston Park.
This is a welcoming, no pressure ride designed to help people feel comfortable on their bikes while enjoying the city and connecting with others.
🚲 What to know:
Open to all skill levels, especially beginners
Both pedal bikes and e bikes welcome
Bring your own bike and helmet
Free to join
🕕 Time: 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
📍 Start Location: Century House, 620 Eighth Street

Ready to hit the field or cheer on the sidelines? The Hyacks Youth Football program is gearing up for another exciting season — and registration is now open.
Based at Mercer Stadium, the Hyacks program offers young athletes a chance to be part of a supportive, high energy community focused on teamwork, skill building, and fun.

Open to youth of all ages and experience levels, the season runs from summer through November, giving participants plenty of time to grow, learn, and compete.
The Hyacks are known across New Westminster for their strong team culture and game day energy, making it a great place for both new and returning players.
With spots filling up quickly each year, early registration is encouraged.
