Looking to refresh your wardrobe while supporting sustainability and community care? A Spring Clothing Event is taking place on Saturday, March 21 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., offering gently used clothing, footwear, and accessories — all completely free.

The event is part of a community effort to declutter closets while helping neighbours access quality clothing items. All pieces available will be clean and gently used, with a wide variety representing all seasons, sizes, ages, and genders.

Residents are invited to drop in, browse the selection, and take home items they need. Organizers say the event is also a great opportunity to connect with neighbours, enjoy a cup of coffee and good food, and spend a welcoming morning together.

Whether you're looking for something specific or simply want to explore what’s available, everyone is welcome to stop by.

A beloved story of love, loss, and transformation is coming to the stage this spring. The Royal Canadian Theatre Company presents The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane on Friday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m.

Adapted by Dwayne Hartford from the acclaimed book by Kate DiCamillo, the production tells the moving story of Edward Tulane, a vain porcelain rabbit who embarks on an extraordinary journey after being separated from his owner. As Edward passes through the hands of different people over the years, he experiences hardship, kindness, and the powerful lessons that come with learning to love.

This imaginative stage production features four actors portraying more than 26 characters, along with live musical elements that bring Edward’s journey to life.

With its heartfelt storytelling and creative staging, the show promises a memorable theatre experience for audiences of all ages.
