Classic Cars and Lacrosse Take Over Queen's Park
Start your engines, New West! One of the city's most exciting summer nights is about to roll into Queen's Park.
The New Westminster Salmonbellies are hosting their first-ever Show 'N Shine Car Show on Thursday, July 23, combining eye-catching vehicles, local food, and Senior A lacrosse into one community celebration.
The festivities kick off at 5:00 p.m. with the car show, where visitors can admire a variety of vehicles and vote for their favourite in the People's Choice Award competition. Food trucks and a beer garden will keep everyone fueled before the action shifts to the arena.
At 7:30 p.m., the Salmonbellies take on the Coquitlam Adanacs in what promises to be an exciting rivalry matchup.
Whether you're a lifelong car enthusiast, a dedicated lacrosse fan, or simply looking for a fun evening with family and friends, this event offers a great way to celebrate summer in New Westminster.

Ready to take your business to the next level? The NextGEN Business Summit is bringing a full day of inspiration, learning, and networking to downtown New Westminster.
Taking place on Saturday, July 25, the summit will bring together entrepreneurs, business owners, founders, investors, and aspiring leaders for a day focused on innovation and growth.
Attendees will hear opening remarks from Minister Rick Glumac, a keynote presentation by Laura Jones, President and CEO of the Business Council of British Columbia, and expert-led sessions covering topics such as sales, digital marketing, enterprise technology, franchising, and business growth.
The event also includes morning coffee, networking breaks, lunch, and a dedicated networking session where participants can connect with fellow entrepreneurs and industry professionals from across British Columbia.
