Mayor Patrick Johnstone is taking his State of the City Address on the road—and he’s making a special stop just for youth.

If you’re between the ages of 11 and 18, this is your exclusive invite to join the State of the City: Youth Edition, happening Wednesday, June 11 at Century House (Fir Room 1AB). It all kicks off at 4:00 p.m., and it’s packed with opportunities to speak up, get answers, and be part of shaping the future of New Westminster.

We’re talking about the real stuff: climate change, housing, mental health, and more. This is your city, and your voice matters. Come hear what’s working, what’s challenging, and what’s next for New West—straight from the Mayor himself.

🎤 Here's the rundown:

  • 4:00 PM – Arrive and meet Mayor Patrick Johnstone

  • 4:20 PM – The Mayor delivers a 20-minute speech about the state of the city

  • 4:40 PM“Ask Pat” Live Q&A: Got a question? Ask it! No scripts, no filters

  • 5:00 PM – Mix, mingle, and connect with others who care about where we’re headed
