Dance, drama, and pure fun take centre stage as the New Westminster Secondary School Dance Department presents NWSS Dance: Teen Dance Movie on January 8, 2026. Bursting with movement, music, and youthful energy, the performance invites audiences into a colourful, fast-paced world inspired by classic movie magic.

The story follows Mac and Brady, who are suddenly zapped into a 1960s beach movie, landing in the middle of a playful turf war between surfers and bikers. When a beloved dance studio is threatened, rival crews must put their differences aside, navigate tangled romances, and dance their way toward an unforgettable finale. Expect big personalities, bold choreography, and plenty of dance-floor drama along the way.

Performed by talented NWSS student dancers, the show is a joyful celebration of self-discovery, friendship, and dancing just for the love of it. With high-energy routines and a feel-good message, Teen Dance Movie promises a lively night of local youth performance and creativity.

Tickets are available now through Massey Theatre.
