Launched in 2020, local artist Christina Morrison has set out on a bold mission: to paint every working tugboat on the West Coast of British Columbia—over 575 vessels in total! With 100 stunning paintings already completed, this exhibit shines a spotlight on the Fraser River’s hardworking tugboat companies and the vital role they play in our coastal communities.

New Westminster is about to get a blast of icy fun as Disney’s Frozen Jr. takes over the stage at the Laura C. Muir Performing Arts Theatre on Saturday, August 16th, 2025, with two showtimes at 1 PM and 6 PM! 🌨️

Presented by The Stage Musical Theatre Academy, this dazzling production marks the debut of their brand-new StageCamp program. In just two weeks, a cast of talented local youth has brought the magical kingdom of Arendelle to life — featuring your favourite characters, unforgettable songs, and a flurry of theatrical fun! ⛄🎶

The show includes classics like Let It Go and Do You Want to Build a Snowman?, along with five new songs written exclusively for the Broadway adaptation. It's a heartfelt tale of sisterhood, courage, and love — perfect for audiences of all ages. ❤️👭

With vibrant costumes, captivating performances, and just the right mix of humour and adventure, Frozen Jr. is sure to thaw even the frostiest hearts! 💙
