Got a talent you’d love to share? The New West Youth Awards is looking for young performers to help make this year’s celebration unforgettable.

Youth ages 13 to 18 are invited to showcase their talents — whether you’re a musician, dancer, comedian, or have a unique act that deserves the spotlight. Organizers encourage creative performances of all kinds, so don’t be shy — surprise them!

Selected performers will take the stage during the New West Youth Awards ceremony on Thursday, May 7 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m., celebrating the achievements of inspiring young people across the community.

If you’re passionate about performing and want to be part of an exciting community event, this is your chance to shine.

Interested youth must apply by March 14.

A heartfelt and humorous story about love, memory, and marriage is coming to Anvil Theatre this March.

Arts Club On Tour’s The Golden Anniversaries will make its New Westminster stop on March 19 and 20, featuring Peter Anderson as Glen Golden and Eileen Barrett as Sandy.

The play follows Glen and Sandy, a couple who have spent decades celebrating every wedding anniversary at the same cottage. But their milestone 50th anniversary getaway takes an unexpected turn after Sandy cancels their big anniversary party and sends Glen packing. When the two reunite, they begin reflecting on the highs, lows, and complicated moments that come with spending half a century together.

Written by the playwright behind Bed and Breakfast and The Birds and the Bees, this Western Canadian premiere blends comedy and drama to explore the realities of long-term love with warmth and humour.
