As part of the City of New Westminster’s ongoing commitment to enhancing community recreation spaces, the Moody Park Basketball Court Resurfacing Project is scheduled to begin on August 18, 2025, weather permitting.

The resurfacing work includes fresh pavement and line painting to improve play quality and safety for users. The project will take approximately seven days to complete, and the basketball court will be closed for the entire duration.

🛠️ Construction Hours
Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

🎾 The adjacent tennis and pickleball courts will remain open throughout the project. Visitors can continue to access them via the north side of the courts.

🚧 The City is working to minimize any disruption and thanks all residents and park users for their patience during the improvement period. Regular updates will be shared through official City communication channels.
